A big thank you to Molly H Lachapelle for allowing me to use this wonderful quote in a piece of my artwork.
"What happened to you becomes what happens to you"
I have really been enjoying pondering the meaning of this quote to me personally. I came to realized that what it means to me is that I could really identify with this fallen tree. Until I had worked through my past I (like the tree) was slowly deteriorating into sludge at the bottom of the pond. When I chose to rise up and overcome the storm that had brought me down I was able to dry off and make my way to a new reality......
