I was experimenting with a new idea when I created this picture.
I took a photograph of a glass ornament and painted over the original image. Then I took that image, duplicated a layer and then painted over that layer. Then I layed one layer on top of the other one and here we have an experimental work.
The ornament I am using was created by Garth Mudge of Glassworks in Winthrop Wa. This artist is truly one of a kind and very talented. Living in the Pacific Northwest we have an abundance of wonderful art and artists living all around us.
Welcome to the vibrant world of Omaste Witkowski! A space where art and photography dance harmoniously. The pieces in these galleries are a fusion of passion and creativity, with a keen eye for the extraordinary in the ordinary. Omaste's journey began with 'Hearts,' a macro photograph of a hand-blown glass ball. This piece was a turning point, sparking a new love for the hidden macro world. It was the perfect blend of her love of glass art and photography. A world of sparkling art was revealed, waiting to be explored through her lens. Omaste's work is not just about creating beautiful art; it's about telling stories, sharing experiences, and inspiring others to see the world from a unique perspective. Each piece is a testament to her...
