Sometimes I Feel As Though I Wear My Heart On My Sleeve And This Is What I Imagine It Would Look Like
I have often been told that I wear my heart on my sleeve. I am a very sensitive person and I feel things deeply and emotionally. Painting last night I came up with an abstract version of this thought. Funny to me that it really expressed this emotional idea and I wanted to share it with all of you :-) I see a heart beating and exposed. Beautiful and vulnerable at the same time. This heart is open to interpretation and protected from harm. Meant to bring a bit of color to a cold and rainy day. See the glowing center and remember warm days and comforting ways. Look deeply into the blue and feel a soothing sense of calm.
